On 25 August 2025, the Jan Karski Institute of War Losses and the Office for War Veterans and Victims of Oppression signed an agreement to co-organise the ‘Witness to Polish History’ competition.

The event aims to promote historical knowledge, shape the awareness of the younger generation, and cultivate the memory of the struggle for Poland's independence.

This is another step in the solid cooperation between our institutions, with further joint projects planned.
